発寒の家Ⅳ 本日の様子

 

二日続いた大雪で一気に真冬に戻った「発寒の家Ⅳ」の現場です。

This is the site of ``Hassamu no ie IV,'' where heavy snow continued for two days and suddenly returned to the depths of winter.

室内ではＵ棟梁の手により稲妻デザインの美しい階段が完成しました。

Inside the building, a beautiful staircase with a lightning bolt design was completed by the master carpenter.

写真は階段の踏み板と壁羽目板の納まりです。壁の羽目板の厚みはけして一枚一枚が均一ではありません。なのにどうして段板とピタリと隙間なく納まるのか？何気なく涼しい顔で棟梁は納めますが・・・

生命感に溢れた赤身の唐松とクールな木毛セメント版の対比も上手く行きましたが、写真左側に見える天井吊りのレンジフードから給排気管を右側に見える壁の開口部に結びます。もちろん中央の梁下を潜るように、右に見える吊戸棚の上端に触らぬよう細かく高さを計算してあります。

The contrast between the lively red Japanese pine and the cool wood-wool cement version worked well, but I connected the air supply and exhaust pipes from the ceiling-suspended range hood on the left side of the photo to the opening in the wall on the right side. Of course, the height has been carefully calculated so that it goes under the central beam and does not touch the top of the hanging cabinet on the right.

また給排気管とも薄肉の鋼製管（スパイラルダクト）を用いますので管をしっかり断熱材で巻いておかないと、住んでから結露でひどいことになります。

Additionally, thin-walled steel pipes (spiral ducts) are used for both the supply and exhaust pipes, so if you don't wrap the pipes tightly with insulating material, you will end up with severe condensation after you move in.

もちろんレンジフードに供給する電線もどこから取ったのか分からぬよう電気屋さんとしっかり打ち合わせをしておきます。

Of course, we will discuss this with the electrician to ensure that they do not know where the wires that supply the range hood came from.

そんな訳で・・ぱっと見ＬＤＫの中央に置かれた対面型キッチンは素敵ですが、それを素敵たらしめるには仕込みが９割ということなのです。

発寒の家Ⅳ 意志共有

 

「発寒の家Ⅳ」の現場は大工さんが４名に増え、急ピッチで内装を進めています。沢山の人手で工事の速度が上がるのは嬉しい反面、各人の頭の中をしっかりと同じ目標に揃えておかないと、後からやり直しばかりが増えるのが、増員時の悩みです。

特に内装直前に設計変更が重なると、この意志共有が上手く行きません。変更前の古い図面で頭の中が一度固まってしまうと、中々切り替わらないし、ついついいつもの調子で納めてしまい・・ええっ！今回は違ったの？？となり易くなります。

最近は現場アプリも導入し変更時の対応はリアルタイムですが、各工種別のグループ分けだったり、ついスマホを見ずに作業に集中し、後から気付く等々・・アプリと現場は異なるのが実態です。

そんな時は、現場アプリに投稿済みと安心せずに、最新図面を部分的に拡大し内装下地が終わった壁に日付と共に貼って行きます。

精一杯、目の前の仕事に集中せざるを得ない大工さんに、「スマホを見ろ！」じゃあなくて最新の情報を身近に用意する。近年の現場アプリソフトはたいへん便利ですが、今回のような増員時には変更の中味を一番よく知る者が現場に居なくては、せっかくの設計変更も完成度が上がりません。

発寒の家Ⅳ 中間時気密測定

 本日は「発寒の家Ⅳ」の中間時気密測定でした。１階に適当な開口部がなくて２階にて測定。日本住環境（NJK）さんありがとうございました。また、いつも最高の性能を出してくれる飛栄建設さん、Ｕ棟梁に心より感謝いたします。

昨日の大雪が嘘のように晴れ上がった「北７条の家」です。塔屋まで含めると木造４階建ての高さとなります。

This is Kita 7-jo House, where yesterday's heavy snow has cleared up as if it were a lie. Including the tower, it is as tall as a four-story wooden building.

外装材はカラマツ材。現場を担当していただいている紺野建設さんの地元、十勝の材料です。最近の建物の外装は木以外のものがほとんどです。自分も板金や左官、サイディング等々・・色々な材料を使ってきましたが、いつの間にか木製外壁の採用が一番多くなりました。

The exterior material is larch wood. These materials are from Tokachi, the hometown of Konno Construction Co., Ltd., which is in charge of the site. Most buildings these days have exteriors made of materials other than wood. I myself have used various materials such as sheet metal, plastering, siding, etc., but before I knew it, wooden exterior walls became the most popular choice.

別に他の材料が嫌いなわけではなく、主に住まい手さんの意識の深化と地域の努力で木を使い易くしていただいたおかげなのですが、環境の時代に相応しい材料が市民権を得たことは作者としてとても嬉しく思います。

It's not that I don't like other materials; it's mainly thanks to the deepening awareness of homeowners and local efforts that have made it easier to use wood, but materials that are appropriate for the environmental era have gained civil rights. As an author, I am very happy about this.

残念ながら・・まだまだ木は燃える、腐るといったネガティブなイメージが強いのですが、実はそうとは限りません。現在では付加断熱をした方が防火性は高まるし、結果的に木外装で防火構造の大臣認定まで取得しています。研究は旭川の北総研（北方建築総合研究所）

Unfortunately... there is still a strong negative image that wood burns and rots, but that is not necessarily the case. Nowadays, additional insulation improves fire resistance, and as a result, the wood exterior has even been certified by the minister as a fire-retardant structure. The research is conducted by Hokusouken (Northern Building Research Institute) in Asahikawa.

そんな理由で、ぱっと見は木外装なのですが、実は防火構造。建て込んだ市街地でも安心して使える外装となっています。

For that reason, although it looks like a wooden exterior at first glance, it is actually fireproof. The exterior design allows for safe use even in built-in urban areas.

昨日の大雪で屋根の上には１ｍ以上も雪が積もっています。

画面の奥から手前に向かって緩やかに冬の卓越風が吹くのが雪庇から分かります。この面（風下側）にパッシブ換気の排気口を設けると自然エネルギーで排気動力を簡単に得られます。

From the snowy eaves, you can see that the prevailing winter wind blows gently from the back of the screen to the front. By installing a passive ventilation exhaust port on this side (downwind side), you can easily obtain exhaust power from natural energy.

床ガラリの見本です。今回は床材がナラ材なので枠材は共材としてスッキリ納めようと思います。

発寒の家Ⅳ 内外装工事

二月中の完了検査に向けて精力的に工事が進んでいる「発寒の家Ⅳ」です。外装はほぼ完了し、内部の床張りを行っています。

The construction of ``Hassamu no ie IV'' is progressing energetically with the aim of completing the inspection in February. The exterior is almost complete and the interior flooring is in progress.

外部の貫板と押し縁もきれいに打ち終えました。本日は板金屋さんが窓と窓の間にサッシと同じ色の板金をはめ込んでくれました。こうすることでサッシの連続性が出て大きなカーテンウオールのような見た目になります。

The external planks and push edges have also been finished neatly. Today, the sheet metal shop fitted a piece of sheet metal between the windows in the same color as the sash. This creates continuity in the sash and gives it the appearance of a large curtain wall.

こんな感じにピタリとはめ込んでくれます。ぱっと見にはこういう連結部品があるのかな？と思い込みそうになりますが、職人さんの技です。

正面の長い庇には雪止めを付けて雪が落下しないようにします。写真の雪止めは樹脂製で鉄板屋根に取り付けても電蝕を起こしません。見た目も小さくスマートなので、よく使っています。

Attach a snow stopper to the long eaves in front to prevent snow from falling. The snow stopper shown in the photo is made of resin and will not cause electrical corrosion even when installed on a steel roof. It looks small and smart, so I use it often.

どの現場でも内装が出来上がり、間仕切りが明らかになるにつれ、変更や微調整が増えます。大工さんをはじめ現場では工期に向けて全集中で職人さんたちが働いていますから、集中を妨げぬよう明快に整理した変更図面を示して、変更後の完成度が落ちないようにします。簡単に言えば、単に原設計の製品を変更しただけに見えても、それを取り付ける下地や照明器具＆スイッチの位置、排水管や給水管の位置や穴あけの位置が相対的に変わります。これら全体に目配りしないと・・完成後、意味不明な位置にスイッチが来たり、せっかく良い作りなのに使い難かったりします。

At any given site, as the interior is completed and the partitions are revealed, changes and tweaks will increase. The carpenters and other craftsmen at the site are working with full concentration in preparation for the construction period, so we show them clear and organized change drawings so as not to disturb their concentration, and to ensure that the level of completion after changes is not compromised. Simply put, even if it appears that the original design of the product has simply been changed, the base to which it is installed, the position of lighting fixtures and switches, the position of drain pipes and water supply pipes, and the position of holes to be drilled have all changed relative to each other. If you don't pay close attention to all of these things... after completion, the switch may be in an incomprehensible position, or it may be difficult to use even though it is well made.

平面のみならず、こんな風に展開図でも明らかにします。ここでは照明器具の水平方向の寸法や高さが変わりましたから変わった部分のみを分かり易く電気屋さんに伝えます。他に忘れたところはないだろうか？何回も頭の中を隅々まで点検します。

This is clarified not only on a flat surface but also on a developed diagram like this. Here, the horizontal dimensions and height of the lighting equipment have changed, so we will simply tell the electrician what has changed in an easy-to-understand manner. Is there anything else I forgot? Check every corner of your head several times.

発寒の家Ⅳ アプローチ工事

 「発寒の家Ⅳ」間口の広いカーポートが良い・・梁：集成材105×270(E105-F300）を両側から軽量溝形鋼で挟み付ける。こうすれば雪を載せたまま４間間口くらいは飛ばせます。こっから先は余談ですが・・誰か構造用の両面テープを開発してくれないかな？

``Hassamu no ie IV'' A carport with a wide frontage is good...Beam: Glulam 105 x 270 (E105-F300) sandwiched between lightweight channel steel from both sides. 羽子板ボルト（引き寄せ金物）が鉄骨に干渉しないようにしっかり避けて設計します。

Design the battledore bolts (drawing hardware) so that they do not interfere with the steel frame.

梁の間隔は約90ｃｍ。雪が１ｍ以上積もっても安心です。

The distance between the beams is approximately 90cm. It is safe even if the snow accumulates more than 1 meter.

新年あけましておめでとうございます。

本年もよろしくお願いいたします。

2023御礼

 

2023年の北海道は年明けから波乱の年となりました。ウッドショックに加え長引くウクライナ戦争、円安のトリプルショックで大幅な土地・建材費の高騰、職人不足・・・そして前年同月比-22％にも及ぶ全国一の新築着工戸数の下落。低迷する景気の中で実質賃金は下がり続け、それに輪をかけるようにお金にまつわる不祥事の数々・・家を建てようという人々のマインドもさぞ冷え込んだことでしょう。

そんな中、長期優良住宅の増改築認定を取得した300mm断熱の性能向上リフォーム「発寒の家Ⅲ」、制度設計から参加させていただき、太陽光パネルと蓄電池を実装した「新札幌版次世代住宅基準」のプラチナグレード「発寒の家Ⅳ」、そして「北７条の家」（この二棟は北方型住宅ZEROでもあります）、また旭川市においては西側斜面の景観を楽しむ300ｍｍ断熱の家「神楽岡の家Ⅱ」（北方型住宅2020）と４棟の住宅を任せていただきました。2009年の「銭函の家2009」から数えると、40～43棟目の「300ｍｍ断熱の家」となり、これ以外に200ｍｍ、250ｍｍ断熱の新築＆改修まで含めると住宅だけで50棟を超えます。これも全てはチャンスを頂いた住まい手さまのおかげです。この場をお借りして心より御礼申し上げます。また1998年の事務所開設から25周年の記念すべき年に最高の仕事の数々に恵まれたことは設計者冥利に尽きると思っています。

少し別の視点からのお話しになりますが、冒頭のような社会の状況を受けてか近年は新築から改修へと大きくニーズが変化している印象を受けます。戸建て住宅のみならず最近では既存マンションの外断熱改修、木賃アパートの断熱改修＆長期優良住宅化による再生。各自治体においても従来中心的な住宅施策だった新築から改修基準へのシフト。当事務所にとっては新規事業分野ですが、おかげさまで多くのお声がけを頂くことができました。心より感謝申し上げます。

コロナが過ぎたこともあってか、今年は本州において「住まいの断熱化」に取り組む方々に呼んでいただく機会が少しだけ戻ってきました。毎年「断熱修行の旅」と題して北海道に研修旅行に来られるミライの住宅さんやコロナ前よりお世話になっているYKKAPさん。たくさんの貴重な学びをありがとうございます。

おかげさまを持ちまして、今年も一年なんとか乗り切りました。みなさま、よいお年をお迎えください。しっかり充電して来期もよろしくお願いいたします。

発寒の家Ⅳ 断熱工事

 

柱の外側にOSB合板（筋交いの代わり）が張られ「箱」としての強度が増した「発寒の家Ⅳ」次は札幌版プラチナ水準に必要な壁断熱を行います。

`Hassamu House IV'' has OSB plywood (instead of braces) placed on the outside of the pillars to increase the strength of the ``box.'' Next, we will perform wall insulation required to meet the Sapporo Platinum standard.

当事務所の一般的な300ｍｍ断熱の家は外部の付加断熱がＧＷ（グラスウール）14ｃｍですが、「発寒の家Ⅳ」ではＧＷの倍の性能を持つフェノールフォーム（板状断熱材）で１２ｃｍの断熱を行います。壁の中に充填されるＧＷと合わせると、概ねＧＷ350ｍｍ相当の壁の断熱となります。

Our office's typical 300mm insulation house has 14cm of additional external insulation made of GW (glass wool), but in `` Hassamu HouseIV'' we have added 12cm of phenol foam (plate-like insulation), which has twice the performance of GW. Perform insulation. When combined with the GW filled in the wall, the insulation for the wall is approximately equivalent to GW 350mm.

こちらが付加断熱の断面になります。90ｍｍ＋30ｍｍで120ｍｍとなります。

2009年から北海道に相応しい断熱水準を見つけるために取り組んできた300ｍｍ断熱プロジェクトですが、ここ14年間でほぼ必要な事柄が明らかになってきました。

The 300mm insulation project has been underway since 2009 to find an insulation level suitable for Hokkaido, and over the past 14 years, most of what is needed has become clear.

結論から言えば・・現在一般的な新築の壁断熱であるＧＷ換算で13～15ｃｍ程度の断熱厚では冬はもちろん夏もあまり有効ではなく、特に電気代や燃料費が高騰する2023年現時では住まい手に取ってかなり厳しい経済的負担となるということです。

In conclusion, the wall insulation thickness of 13 to 15 cm (GW equivalent), which is currently common in new construction, is not very effective not only in winter but also in summer, especially in 2023 when electricity and fuel costs are skyrocketing. This places a considerable financial burden on residents.

その一方で、断熱厚を増し必要な気密性能と窓の性能を整えれば、簡単に光熱費が半分から場合によっては1/3程度にまで減ります。

さらにこの家のように壁面太陽光と蓄電池を加えれば災害時も平時も非常に安心度は高まります。自分も歳を重ねてきて・・北国で生きて行く上で、冬の温かさ、夏の涼しさのような室内の居心地は毎日を健全に前向きに生きる上で欠かせないものだと感じるようになりました。

On the other hand, by increasing the thickness of the insulation and providing the necessary airtightness and window performance, you can easily reduce your utility costs by half, or even one-third in some cases.

Furthermore, if you add solar panels on the walls and storage batteries like in this house, the level of security will be greatly increased both in times of disaster and normal times. As I get older, I feel that while living in a northern country, indoor comfort, such as warmth in winter and coolness in summer, is essential to living a healthy and positive life every day. became.

穏やかな室内環境は血圧も安定しますし家中から寒がりな家族がいなくなります。/笑、その結果・・外に出かける余裕が生まれ、今まで憂鬱でしかなかった寒さや雪を楽しめるようにもなります。室内から眺める吹雪もしんしんと降る雪も、いつまで見ていても飽きない地域の大切な情景に変わります。

300ｍｍ断熱に取り組んでみて色々な収穫がありましたが、中でも最大のものは、家の作りようで、地域を愛して暮らせる毎日を得られるということです。北海道に住まう人の多くが、長年悩んできた冬を肯定的に見ることができる。まさに今の時代に求められる自己肯定感の復活・・もちろん燃費もお値打ですが/笑

A calm indoor environment will stabilize your blood pressure, and your family will no longer be sensitive to cold. /Lol, as a result...I can afford to go outside and enjoy the cold and snow, which used to be depressing. The blizzard and falling snow that you can see from indoors will turn into important scenes of the area that you will never get tired of seeing.

I gained a lot of benefits from working on 300mm insulation, but the biggest one was that I was able to spend my days loving the community, just like building a house. Many people living in Hokkaido are now able to look at winter in a positive light, something they have been worried about for many years. This is exactly the kind of self-affirmation that is needed in this day and age...of course, the fuel efficiency is also worth it/lol

北７条の家 BELS

今年２件目の「札幌版次世代住宅基準」のプラチナグレードが「北７条の家」BELSの評価証を頂きました。紺野建設さんのおかげで現在建設中です。各部の断熱グレードをHGW16-38（北海道で一般的な16kg高性能GW）を物差しにして示します。屋根：536ｍｍ相当。順に壁：314ｍｍ、外気床：538ｍｍ、基礎（外断熱）：207ｍｍ、土間下：58ｍｍ、窓：ＵＡ0.78Ｗ/㎡Ｋ、玄関ドア：0.94Ｗ/㎡Ｋ。ＢＥＩは３種換気、太陽光発電考慮せず（札幌市の条件による）、各方位ともサッシの日射熱取得率は0.33～0.34。ガラス色はニュートラルで標準計算としました。

 

敷地から溢れんばかりに積み上げられた断熱材の山。本日より窓付けを開始した「北７条の家」です。

11/29 現場の様子 発寒の家Ⅳ/建て方

「発寒の家Ⅳ」の建て方です。二階はほぼ尺梁でスパンは３間飛ばし。大工さんたちごめんなさい。そしてありがとうございます/笑。

This is how to build a "cold house IV". The second floor is mostly shaku beams with three spans. Sorry, carpenters. And thank you/lol.

赤く見える唐松集成材の梁は顕し。それ以外のスプルスの白身材は隠蔽。なので伏せ図のチェックはいつも大変。話は変わるけど・・南部以外は美しい杉の育たない北海道。その代わり松材による集成材や人工乾燥の技術が発達した。おかげで梁の強度はＥ-105以上が最低。高強度材になるとヤング係数はE-150以上にも及ぶ。こんな風にして大黒柱を立てることなく半年間、雪を載せたままにできる大スパンの屋根の強度は得られている。

The red-looking Karamatsu laminated timber beams are clearly visible. The rest of the spruce white meat is hidden. Therefore, it is always difficult to check the hidden drawings. On a different note...Hokkaido, where beautiful cedar trees don't grow anywhere other than the southern part. Instead, laminated pine wood and artificial drying techniques were developed. Thanks to this, the minimum strength of the beam is E-105 or higher. High-strength materials have a Young's modulus of E-150 or higher. In this way, the roof is strong enough to hold snow for half a year without having to become the main breadwinner.

11/24 発寒の家Ⅲお引渡し

 

昨日は築42年の性能向上改修「発寒の家Ⅲ」の取説＆お引渡しでした。いつものようにお花を仕立てていただいて、各種副本に竣工図、私のPCの全ファイル、CADデーターまで全てお客さんに納品します。国の長期優良住宅化リフォーム推進事業のルール通り、新築並みに改修したのでこの家はきっと私より長生きでしょう。未来の設計者に少しでも当時の手がかりを残すためにここ10年はこうしています。

Yesterday was the instruction manual and handover of the 42-year-old "Hasamu no Ie III" which was renovated to improve its performance. As usual, I will have the flowers tailored, and I will deliver everything to the customer, including various copies, as-built drawings, all files on my PC, and CAD data. In accordance with the rules of the government's long-term quality housing renovation promotion project, this house has been renovated to look like a new building, so I'm sure this house will outlive me. I've been doing this for the past 10 years in order to leave as much of a clue as possible to the designers of the future.

こっから先は余談ですが・・高断熱高気密住宅だからと言って、分厚い住み方マニュアルや特別な住まい方をお客さんにお願いすることはありません。かつてはそんな風に勿体ぶった取説を長々としていましたが/笑・・お客さんがその通り住んでくれるのは最初の数年・・それに気が付いてからは、家の方の包容力を上げて多少やんちゃな住み方をしても深刻なことにならないように作り方や設計を工夫するように変えました。

As a side note, just because it is a highly insulated and airtight house, we do not ask our customers for a thick living manual or special living arrangements. In the past, I used to give long and careless instruction manuals like that/LOL...Customers only live according to the instructions for the first few years...After I realized that, I started to improve the tolerance of the home owners. We have changed the way they are made and designed so that even if you raise them up and live in a somewhat naughty way, it will not cause any serious problems.

「大切なことは４月～11月までは３種換気のスイッチをON、それ以外の季節は切っちゃってOKです！」みたいな感じです。2009年以降、300ｍｍ断熱の家にしてからは一日合計6～8時間の暖房稼働で設計室温の下限値18℃以上を維持できるので運転時間は引き渡し時にタイマーセットしちゃいます。お客さんは実際に住んでみて微調整だけすればOK！そんな感じです。それ以外にも・・窓は一年中自由に開けて下さい。冬は一番浴室と脱衣所が暖かいですから換気扇は入れても入れなくてもカビは生えません。冬、洗濯物があっという間に乾いてびっくりしますよ/笑。加湿器が欲しいなと思ったらまずはお風呂の蓋を開けて下さい。簡単に加湿できます。気密性が高いので解放式ストーブは厳禁です！でもカセットコンロはOKですよ/笑・・これからも楽に簡単に住める断熱住宅を作って行こうと思います。難しいと長続きしないので/笑・・

最後に貴重な挑戦の機会を頂いた建て主さまに心より御礼申し上げます。住まいを自由に楽しんで下さい。

If you want to use a humidifier, first open the lid of the bathtub. You can easily humidify. Open stoves are strictly prohibited as it is highly airtight! 11/22 現場の様子 神楽岡の家Ⅱ/気密測定

本日は旭川で建設中の「神楽岡の家Ⅱ」の気密測定です。測定前に外壁貫通部のチェックを手分けして行い、送風機で室内の空気を吸い出して（減圧法）漏気がないかを確認します。

Today we will be measuring the airtightness of Kaguraoka no Ie II, which is currently under construction in Asahikawa. Before measurement, we check the penetrations of the exterior wall separately, and use a blower to suck out the indoor air (decompression method) to check for air leaks.

外部の貫通部分はガスケットとテープでしっかり気密を行います。

The external penetration part is tightly sealed with gasket and tape.

室内からもブチルテープを用いて丁寧に気密化します。

We will carefully make the room airtight using butyl tape.

外壁貫通部分はなにも管だけではありません。羽子板ボルトの部分もブチルテープを用いて一つ一つ丁寧に気密化します。菅野棟梁の丁寧な仕事です。８年前に初めて「東光の家」を施工いただいた時も同様の仕事を見て感動したのを覚えています。

The parts that penetrate the exterior wall are not just pipes. The battledore bolts are also carefully made airtight one by one using butyl tape. This is the careful work of master carpenter Kanno. I remember being impressed when I saw similar work done eight years ago when I had my first ``Toko House'' constructed.

結構な数の羽子板ボルトがありますから中々たいへんな仕事です。

There are quite a number of battledore bolts, so it's quite a difficult job.

こちらは気密コンセントＢＯＸ廻り。ポイントは防湿シートとコンセントＢＯＸのつなぎ目にウレタン充填してあるところ。こうすることで外壁部分のスイッチやコンセント廻りからの漏気がぐっと抑えられます。この処置が甘いと特に冬場、コンセント廻りから冷気を感じたりします。

This is around the airtight outlet box. The key point is that the joint between the moisture-proof sheet and the outlet box is filled with urethane. This will greatly reduce air leakage from around switches and outlets on the outside wall. If this treatment is not done properly, you may feel cold air coming from around the electrical outlet, especially in the winter.

測定は気密が良過ぎてエラー（機械が漏気を感知できない状態）が頻発し何度も計測してやっと測れるほどの高気密状態でした。

The airtightness of the measurements was so high that errors (the machine could not detect air leaks) occurred frequently, and it took many measurements to finally be able to measure the airtightness.

計測器はコーナー札幌製。

The measuring instrument is made by Corner Sapporo.

１階の西側の窓で計測しました。

Measurements were taken from the west window on the first floor.

測定結果はC値：0.2ｃｍ2/㎡と最高の結果となりました。

The measurement result was the highest C value: 0.2cm2/㎡.
