発寒の家Ⅳ 断熱工事

 

柱の外側にOSB合板(筋交いの代わり)が張られ「箱」としての強度が増した「発寒の家Ⅳ」次は札幌版プラチナ水準に必要な壁断熱を行います。

当事務所の一般的な300mm断熱の家は外部の付加断熱がGW(グラスウール)14cmですが、「発寒の家Ⅳ」ではGWの倍の性能を持つフェノールフォーム(板状断熱材)で12cmの断熱を行います。壁の中に充填されるGWと合わせると、概ねGW350mm相当の壁の断熱となります。

2009年から北海道に相応しい断熱水準を見つけるために取り組んできた300mm断熱プロジェクトですが、ここ14年間でほぼ必要な事柄が明らかになってきました。

The 300mm insulation project has been underway since 2009 to find an insulation level suitable for Hokkaido, and over the past 14 years, most of what is needed has become clear.

結論から言えば・・現在一般的な新築の壁断熱であるGW換算で13~15cm程度の断熱厚では冬はもちろん夏もあまり有効ではなく、特に電気代や燃料費が高騰する2023年現時では住まい手に取ってかなり厳しい経済的負担となるということです。

その一方で、断熱厚を増し必要な気密性能と窓の性能を整えれば、簡単に光熱費が半分から場合によっては1/3程度にまで減ります。

さらにこの家のように壁面太陽光と蓄電池を加えれば災害時も平時も非常に安心度は高まります。自分も歳を重ねてきて・・北国で生きて行く上で、冬の温かさ、夏の涼しさのような室内の居心地は毎日を健全に前向きに生きる上で欠かせないものだと感じるようになりました。

穏やかな室内環境は血圧も安定しますし家中から寒がりな家族がいなくなります。/笑、その結果・・外に出かける余裕が生まれ、今まで憂鬱でしかなかった寒さや雪を楽しめるようにもなります。室内から眺める吹雪もしんしんと降る雪も、いつまで見ていても飽きない地域の大切な情景に変わります。

300mm断熱に取り組んでみて色々な収穫がありましたが、中でも最大のものは、家の作りようで、地域を愛して暮らせる毎日を得られるということです。北海道に住まう人の多くが、長年悩んできた冬を肯定的に見ることができる。まさに今の時代に求められる自己肯定感の復活・・もちろん燃費もお値打ですが/笑

I gained a lot of benefits from working on 300mm insulation, but the biggest one was that I was able to spend my days loving the community, just like building a house. Many people living in Hokkaido are now able to look at winter in a positive light, something they have been worried about for many years. This is exactly the kind of self-affirmation that is needed in this day and age...of course, the fuel efficiency is also worth it/lol
